Car Repair Costs Caused Unexpected Hardship- Please Help with Car Note
My Story:
I am a married mother of three kids, ages 17, 11, and 8. I am very busy between working a full-time job and taking my kids to their sports practices and activities. My husband is physically disabled, so I have to take him to all of his appointments. We live paycheck to paycheck, and there is never any way to set aside money for emergencies.
I recently had to pay for an unexpected car repair. We can't function without a car, so I was left with no choice other than to pay for the replacement part and labor costs to get our car running again. This has caused me to fall behind on other necessary bills, and I really could use some help to get past this setback.
I am asking for assistance with the past due car payments. After getting the repairs, I was unable to pay the car note, and fell behind to the point where we are in danger of having our family's only vehicle repossessed.
This help from Modest Needs would ease the worry I've been feeling about our vehicle. My husband has found part-time work to supplement our income, and we hope that we can start setting aside money for emergencies and avoid this sort of situation in the future. This funding would make such a difference for our family, and we are very thankful for any help we may receive.
