Dear Modest Needs Donors, There is no better way that one could put this other than simply saying Thank You! with a big smile and thanking you guys over and over again. With the help from you guys it has now taken a big burden off of me and i am now able to get back on track and get things back in order how they once was before. My kids would like to also thank you guys from the bottom of there hearts, because without you guys there graduation and things of that nature wouldn't have been quite possible. I know it wasn't easy for you guys to take something no matter how big it was and donate it to someone you didn't know so i would like to say thanks once again and to say that each and every last one of you guys will forever be blessed.
Single Mom of 4 Needs Help to Avoid Eviction
My Story:
I am a single mother of 4 children two girls and two boys ages 9,12,13 and 18. I work fulltime to support my family. I am usually able to take care of our expenses, but this last month brought several unusual bills at once! We had an issue with the electric unit in my apt and the utility bill was extremely high. On top of that two of my children, my 13 the-year-old and my 18-year-old are both graduating this year, one from high school and one from 8th grade. I had money set aside for these graduation costs, but the high utility bill has caused me to fall short on my income this month. I am now worried about how I will afford my rental payment.
I am turning to Modest Needs for help with my rent. I greatly love all of my children and I am very proud of them. I try my best to provide for them as all parents should, and I currently earn enough to pay our monthly expenses, but the incredibly high electric bill set me back in being able to pay my rent. I'm worried that my landlord will eventually give me notice to vacate if the amount is not paid in full. I do not know what I would do or where I would go with my children if we were evicted.
This help will bring me current with my rent, and going forward I will begin to start building a savings so I can be more prepared for unforeseen circumstances like this. Thank you for helping my family!
