Couple Needs Utility Help due to Temporary Income Loss
My Story:
We are a married couple in our late 50s/early 60s. I am a former kindergarten teacher, and my husband works in Real Estate. Due to health issues, he recently began working in this industry. He loves his new job and is working hard to build a good future for us.
At present, my only source of income is a military pension I receive each month (from former spouse), but it is not enough to cover the bills when my husband is not working. Due to a temporary gap in my husband's income, we have fallen short on some of our bills this month.
We are asking for Modest Needs' help to catch up with our utilities. We are worried that we could soon have our gas and electric turned off, and we will not be able to heat our home, cook, or have lights in our home.
Your assistance will help us get back on track. My husband's income is in the process of picking back up, and we should be able to get back on our feet once we are current with our utilities. Your help would bring a great sense of relief to us, and we would appreciate it very much!
