Paid For Urgent Brakes Repair And Now My Water Will Be Shut Off
I am a 57-year-old divorced woman, living on my own. I have two grown children and two grand children that I love dearly. I have worked all my life in the nursing field where I felt like I was making a difference. I lost my ability to work in late 2010 due to a serious medical condition of my own. I currently live on a fixed income, and require constant visits to doctors in order to maintain my health.
I am turning to Modest Needs, because I had to spend an unexpected amount to fix the brakes on my car. As this was a mandatory repair to my only means of transportation, I had no choice but to do it. This took away from my monthly budget that goes towards bills, and I now cannot pay my water bill. Living on disability means that I have a meager income, that is carefully budgeted, so anything extra offsets me. I am in desperate need to get this bill paid and not to have my water shut off.
If my application is funded it will take a lot of stress and worry off of me. My water bill will be caught back up, and I will be back on track. This help would mean my prayers have been answered and that there are still good and kind people left in this world. I hope that one day I will be able to help someone out in a similar situation. Thank you!
