This person has left the following thank you note:
Thank you for what you have done for me and my family. I'm in tears right now because I see that no matter how bad they say the economy is there are people like yourself who are still willing to lend a helping hand. My heart is so emotional right all I can say is bless you and thank you from the bottom of it. This gift will never be taken for granted and hopefully soon I will be able to be on the giving end of it.
Disabled Veteran Needs Help with Car To Get to Doctor Appointments
I am a disabled war veteran that was recently medically discharged from the military. I'm married to a soldier. We have nine children between the both of us, with four living in the home. We were not expecting to be in this situation and hopefully soon we will be ok.
I need help because we were unprepared for my untimely military departure. We started my VA paperwork, but there is a wait time before payments can begin. Because of this we have fallen behind on our bills.
I need Modest Needs' help to afford a late car note. I can't afford to have repossession happen now. I need to care for the children and make it to and from doctor appointments.
My family has made sacrafices to be able to overcome our current situation, cutting out all non-essential expenses to get enough money to take care of the bills. We have even agreed as a family to postpone Christmas until we can make it happen, hopefully later this year.
If we could get help I promise to help someone in return once we are back on our feet. We are so stressed about money--even the children are effected. If we could get help with this one bill, we should be able to catch up the note and keep our car. Once the VA payments begin we should be alright. We just don't know how to make it until then. Please consider our modest need and thank you for your time.
