Disabled Vet needs Mortgage Assistance
I am a disabled veteran and my wife is a 22 year career postal service employee with a job-related disability. We moved our daughter and her son into our household since February to help them have some stability with housing. My daughter is currently unemployed. My disability is diabetes and high blood pressure.
My wife missed some time from work due to an unexpected illness and no sick leave, which diminished our household income. We also had an unexpected payment for A/C repairs and vehicle repair expenses. I am expecting an increase in compensation from the VA because of my disabilities soon, but for now we are stuck.
We need help with the payment of our mortgage. We are currently implementing ways to streamline, reduce or eliminate non-essential expenses and trying to establish an emergency fund for unexpected expenses. Funding of this application would be a blessing in every sense of the word and would just be an inspiration to increase my donation to the family of donors making a difference in the lives of others at their significant time of need aka PHP (people helping people). May God bless you!
