My Story:
I am a disabled veteran, injured in the line of duty while serving my county overseas in 2005. I have been fighting the government for my traumatic life insurance money all these years, and am still trying to get it. My health is declining and my husband is trying to take care of me and the kids.
I have had a broken back, a heart attack and a brain injury. Recently, I had to have surgery on my thyroid and parathyroid as the VA thinks I was exposed to some sort of radiation while overseas.
My husband lost his job in 2008 and has a court case pending on that. He has not received any workers compensation or unemployment benefits yet. We are trying to save the house as the VA is making it accessible for my physical challenges. We just need a little help to catch up on things here, and it would be a relief if we could get some help with our unusual and unusually high oil bill right now. Thank you so very much.
