Stage 4 Cancer: Need Rent Help

My Story:

We are an older couple, and really need your help. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer; he had been sick for a while and had lost about 70 pounds. When he finally gave in and went to the emergency room, they had to operate and got most of the cancer, however he had to go on chemo as soon as he could. So he's not able to work and the income we receive is from my disability check. Needless to say that's hard to live on.

Our landlord has been great, but we've gotten so far behind on our rent, he's about ready to throw us out. My husband will be getting his first disability check next month. We are three months behind on rent, and of course everything else. We can catch up on everything but rent. If we could get help with one months rent, then my husband might finally get some sleep and not worry so much.

I know it's not a huge amount, but to us it means the world right now. Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us it would restore our faith, and help us to be able to get back on our feet. Then we could help someone down the road. Thank you so much and please pray for us. Thank you!
