More to My Story for 73-Year-Old Escaping Homelessness

My Story:

My name is Coleen and I want to extend my thanks and appreciation for your generous efforts to help me. I know many are suffering and M.N. is amazing in their efforts!

I am seventy-three years old. Known as a kind sweet woman. I was made homeless by an abuser and spent two months in a homeless camp, which was emotionally devastating to me. Never in my life have I been in the position. I have since found housing and a part time job.

It has been six months since I have seen any of my belongings. Everything I own is in storage in Port Orchard, WA. Summer is here and it would be wonderful to have my clothes and possessions here in Hood River, OR.

I want and need my stuff moved to Hood River, OR, where I live, which is over three hundred miles away. I do have a U-Haul truck lined up with movers on both ends to load and unload the truck. A friend will drive it to Oregon for me. My meager social security does not cover the cost.

My gratitude and thankfulness is from the bottom of my heart for your consideration and generosity in helping me.
