This is simply amazing!!! Just when I was about to give up, donors gave me the light behind a stormy cloud. I want, we want (my two children and I)to thank all of those donors who contributed to our well being. GOD Bless you all! You who took the time out to read about our unfortunate situation and who had the hearts to give not only to me, but to all of those other applicants who are in need of help. Soon, I will be able to give back and help another applicant on this site. Thank you modest needs and DONORS. I just rec'd notice that the approval for my request has been granted. I dont even know where to begin to thank you all. JThank you just doesnt seem to be enough-you all cant even imagine the relief and differance this will make in my son's life. From the bottom of our hearts we send out the biggest THANK YOU I wish I could send personal thanks to all who donated to make this possible instead if any of you happen to be in Cahokia on the 20th you're invited to celebrate my son's 9th birthday with us. Stallings and Family It's with great joy that I write this testimony today.When I first heard of this program, I was not even in my right mind and all hope was lost but, Truly God is good All the Time.. I had just said unto the LORD on Tuesday that we was so close to the 8th again and my heart was broken in pieces thinking that we would not have the money for the Headstone, I just sat and cried and this Song came to me the Singer is Joanne Rosario, it goes (because of who you are I give you glory) There is No one like Jesus. He is meek and lowly modest in all that he does . That is Who and What This Program has done for ME. Jesus is working thru people like each one of you, reaching and touching lives where it counts and really makes an impact on them. My testimony is May Each One receives the desires of their hearts through their giving and extended act of kindness. Not just because but, He Is Working Through Modest Needs. OOhhh My Gosh. I am speechless. I can not tell you how this has helped me today. After getting another call for payment less than an hour ago and having to explain yet again that I am still trying to come up with the money I felt awful. But I read the email saying I was funded I am speechless. I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me and my family. We truly have no one we can turn to and when I heard about this organization I prayed that you all will be able to help me. So I want to say thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for all your help and I too will be returning the favor. Thank you all again and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!

To those at Modestneeds.org who have stepped up to assist me during this time, I say a heartfelt 'Thank You'. You are not only a great blessing used by God and great evidence to me personally of God provision and that HIS timing is ALWAYS PERFECT, even though it may not be what we want or think we need. Your show of support of this financial need comes again a the PERFECT TIME - just as the deadline for this month's rent is literally on the horizon. I can now let the office know that I WILL have the funds for them within a matter of days. Another show of God's timing, is that notice of your gift of support came on the evening of the same day I have been offered a F/T position that will pay more than my last F/T job and will allow me to be able to clear up some past due bills and work towards regaining my financial independence. I look forward to the day that I will be able to bless others in the way that all of you have blessed me. I pray God's greatest blessings on all of you at ModestNeeds! You wouldn't believe how fast GOd turn things around in my life. Everytime I feel like giving up GOD tells me know and sends me a miracle. I am shaking with tears running down my face. I sat here crying everyday wondering how in the world will I pay mey rent. I am working hard but still not making ends meet. I just want to thank everybody. GOD put it in your heart everyday to bless those in need and he will bless you more. I just want to thank you all once again and a BIG thanks to the person who invented MODEST NEEDS. My name is Susan and I am a single mother. I had the unfortunate incident of being held up at gunpoint in the lot of my job. They took everything i had. I can't begin to express all of my gratitude for your help. I wasn't sure how God was going to come through, but I knew he would. And he did through all of you.
