I have been laid off from a job I held for nine years and I have been the reason my mom has not lost her home as of yet.

She worked her whole life to keep a roof over her kid's heads and now I am struggling right now to keep her home. I am actively looking for work but could really use a little help.

My name is Carmen and I would first like to say thank you to all the individuals who have so generously donated to Modest Needs. On my moms birthday, (day before Xmas)I was interviewed by our local news station, and told my truth on how I lost my job and due to that I was unable to pay my mothers house payment for the month of November. This could have put us in foreclosure and my mother after working her whole life to house her family, might have lost her home. But thanks to Modest needs and your help we have a fighting chance today.
