I am a single mother of two great kids. I divorced their father about seven years ago because of domestic violence, and I swore I would never get myself into this situation again.

I started seeing someone about a year ago, and he turned out to be the same way. When he found out I was trying to leave, things went from bad to the unimaginable, and I really need to move so that I can provide a safe home for my children and for myself.

Enough is enough. I have to get out of this environment immediately, and I have to protect my children. No woman should ever feel as though leaving is the wrong choice. I don't want to send the message to my kids that we are stuck.

I have found a safe apartment to move into and have paid the security deposit, but I really need help with the first month's rent. Please help me and my children if you can. Any help you give us I will give back to others in some way. Thank you for listening.
