Help with Keeping Health Insurance
My Story:
After several months of being unemployed I am beginning a new job, which unfortunately does not provide health insurance.
Being unemployed for several months has left me behind on medical insurance payments and I'm now afraid that I will loose my coverage.
I do not have a savings account and have been unemployed and working odd jobs while I look for work. I was able to pay my rent last month, but had nothing to spare so I am late with my health insurance payment.
I don't start my job until July 14th and won't get my first pay check till the beginning of August, which will make me late with payment and I could lose my health insurance if I don't pay it by the end of the month.
Any money I have right now will be going towards groceries and public transportation to work, which is rather costly for round trip.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
I'm very close to catching up after being unemployed for several months but this final stretch until I have regular income is difficult.
