Student needs Mortgage Assistance

My Story:

Dear Donor,

Thank you for reviewing my application for mortgage assistance. I am requesting help with my November mortgage payment. Earlier this year I was on unemployment insurance and I was able to keep up my mortgage payments with unemployment checks and a small disability check I receive for my daughter. My daughter is autistic.

However, when my unemployment insurance ended, I was still without work and I got behind on my mortgage payments. I found employment in late July or early August but I have not been able to bring my mortgage current yet. I made a payment on 11/12/10 for September and October, but I do not have the money to make another payment this month for November's mortgage payment. The month is half over and pretty soon I am going to be two payments behind again.

If I could just get current (and pay off the late fees) then I would be able to make my December payment as scheduled. I'm having a hard time climbing out of this hole. I graduate from college at the end of February 2011 (with my Masters Degree in Project Management) so I suspect that next year will be much more profitable for me since I will have completed my degree, but right now its not been easy.

My daughter and I have always been self sufficient and have needed little help from others even though she is autistic and we receive no child support or SSI disability income. We have been able to make it on our own. Four years ago we bought our first home and it's been a wonderful blessing, but now I'm afraid I'm going to lose it.
