Help Single Mom Save Tooth

My Story:

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my request. I am a 34-year-old working single mother of an infant. I've worked in Social Services for the past 12 years. I love my work because every day I get to help people but the income is minimal. Right now I am working reduced hours because I have a six-month-old son that needs my time, care and attention.

I am writing to request help with the cost of a crown for one of my molars. I have no dental insurance and am not eligible for it through my work. I've had pain in the tooth for a few years now and the dentist recommended to wait and see. This past week during a check up I was told the tooth is cracked and without a crown it will break and have to be extracted. At this time I cannot afford to take on the cost for the crown. The only thing I can afford is to have it extracted and at my age I really do not want to begin loosing teeth.

I have decent credit but owe on my credit card as it is and am doing my best to pay this down. It is debt that was incurred after a car accident when I was out of work. As we all know credit cards are not the solution to financial crisis and in the end with the interest we pay much, much more.

Being a single mother I live on a budget and cannot find any room in it to make payments for the procedure. Your kind assistance would make it possible for me to preserve my tooth.
