I am a single parent with a daughter in Job Corp and I am also enrolled in the Medical Field at the University of Phoenix pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management. Unfortunately, I suffer from periodic abscesses all over my body. When this illness flares up, then I am unable to work. Subsequently, I am not paid for hours that are not actually worked and this causes me great hardship.

The reason this will make a difference for my household is as follows: it will help me to afford to continue my educational endeavors so that I may become financially independent and remain in my home with the lights on.
