Hi, I am a single parent of two children, 15 and 10. I do not get child support because the father is incarcerated so money is pretty tight around the house. After putting the kids back in school and trying to catch up with my past due high electric bill I am barely making ends meet.

This summer my car started acting up and now needs repair in which I cannot afford. It needs a blower and a minor tune up. I am mainly concerned about the blower because no air comes out, hot or cold. When it rains the windshield fogs up and the cold months are near.

I ran across Modest Needs through the Internet and immediately felt a sense of hope. That just maybe there is someone who understands that sometimes things get difficult to handle by yourself and you need to ask for help from people you don't' know.

This would mean so much to me to receive some assistance from Modest Needs and especially what it would mean to my children. I can give them one more testimony as to why there is a God. That I can tell them this story when times get rough for them...To always have faith. Thank you very much for your consideration.
