I am married with three small children. April 20, 2009 my husband was told 10 minutes before he got off work that his place of employment was closing. This left us about 2000.00 behind right off the bat. The company went belly up and still owes my husband pay for two weeks worth of work and two months worth of commission.

Unfortunitly we will probably never see this money. This really effects you when you live paycheck to paycheck. In 2002 I started a job and worked for 2 years to put my husband through school. We felt this was better for our family in the long run. My husband quit the company that went belly up and went to school full time for the next two years. In 2004 He graduated with two degrees. I was about to have our 2nd child so he went back to work with this company just to support us.

He moved up and was making not good money but the best we ever had. He moved around in management for about 4 years. One kid later hes unemployed and since our income is mostly unearned instead of earned we dont qualify for any kind of food stamps. I work about 8 hours a week at minimum wage. Hopefully my husband can find a job in his field where he can use his education.

Even having a degree its hard to find work. We had to pay the license and regestration on our vehicle , a trip to the doctor for me with no insurance and a higher than usual utility bill. Having to take care of these things has left us a little short for the morgage. Any help would be a blessing.
