I am single parent of two sons. I currently live alone and have recently lost my job due to my car breaking down. My employer was unsympathetic and let me go. I have applied for unemployment benefits and have been awarded them, but I have yet to receive any compensation. Due to this current loss of income, I am in need of help with my rent. I don't know where else to turn. Please help. Thank you.
