PA Budget Impasse-Rental Help | Cost to fully fund this application: 1,300.00 Modest Needs Points

At this time in my life, I have experienced a hardship that has affected both my life and the lives of my children. I believe that as a parent, we have a way of using love and support to heal a lot of things, therefore the stress has been on my shoulders and not my daughters.

I would really appreciate this assistance that will help me return to self-sufficiency because it would mean a lot to me if I could get in front of things that have fallen behind.

To add insult to all that has happened with my employer not signing the state budget to pay myself as a State Employee, the child care centers in our state are cutting staff and closing doors. I have made alternative plans in the event that this may happen because I will need to continue to work.

This PA budget impasse still remains in effect and our governor passed a 'stop-gap' budget to pay some employees; fortunately, I am a paid employee now. I will be taking on a second job in the late fall once my employer reviews and approves my request.

As a civil service employee, I must get any and all employment approved by the state—it just can't conflict with our work at the Department of Public Welfare. I guess it is what it is around here, but I'm blessed to be back on track with receiving a paycheck. Your assistance will help move me and my family past this whole ordeal. Thank you.

Testimonial

This person has left the following thank you note:

To need someone has shown my vulnerability. To know someone cares and will try to help if they can has made me so humble. I've grown and changed because of my trials; therefore the genorosity of others has made my process toward giving back a blessed one. I have such a testimony filled with joy coupled with pain, and you just softened the reality of things for me today. God bless each and everyone of you that donated to my MODEST NEEDS. Thank you...may many blessings come your way.
