I have been on the Georgia liver transplant list for over two years now. I have been on disability for four years. I also have a grandchild and my daughter and her boyfriend living with us. They are both in school, so we have to provide for them. I also have a 10-year-old as well.

I do have Medicare for myself, but my wife and child have no insurance. I only recently got Medicare, so I have outstanding medical bills at the hospital where I will be getting a liver transplant.

In order to stay on this list so that I may receive a liver, I must stay in good standing with the hospital in order to get my liver transplant when the time is right.

I can keep up with the bills from now on, now that I have insurance, but I can't seem to cover the old balance. Any help you can give me would be great. Thank you so much.
