I'm a single mother with 1 boy. I am working at a childcare center right now. I just recently accomplished my GED! I am seriously pondering going to college, but praying that God will give me time to go to school. Both my parents passed away at a young age, and I have been leaning on God's help, and furthering the good opportunities he has for my son and me.

Just recently this month I never received a child support check for 1 of the weeks, and my son and I have gotten the flu, and have been out of work for three days without pay. I just moved in with my aunt who I'm paying 450 for rent until I close on a house. I should get there soon!

I have a car payment that is due in 2 wks and can't afford it because of the days out of work and cut in child support. I thank God for organizations like you that understand that circumstances do happen and are willing to help! In the future, I would also like to become a donor, even if I can only give a little at a time. Thank you for considering my application.

First of all, I want to sincerely thank modest needs and the people who funded me... I am sooo appriciative that someone else is concerned. I have been struggling most of my life. Nothing really that I did to make these difficult situations happen. they just have been happening. for example getting a good job and losing it because needing more hours, as a single mother. Finally finding a place to live for me and my son, but having to move out because we can't afford it. I'm in the process of continuing my education, and praying that people will volunteer to help watch my son, so that i can go to school part time. Most of all I believe God can make a way when there seems to be no way! Thank you modest needs...
