I am a widow with only one income from my job, I try to pay bills on time, but unexpected things keep happening. The last week of August my car broke down. This was my only mode of transportation for me to get to work and for my granddaughter to get to school.

I get off from work late at night and sometimes it's hard to get a ride. The fuel pump went bad, so I had to use my electric bill money to get parts and pay for labor and installation. I just got my car fixed October 10th. I received a disconnect notice for my electric bill; I don't have the money to pay my electric bill from the repairs.

I pray Modest Needs can help. If so, I can say I reached out for help from strangers and received help. With your help, I can drive my granddaughter to school and not be worried about if the lights will be on or off.
