I suffer from multiple medical problems, some of which include Post Polio Syndrome, fibromyalgia, asthma, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, heart disease, COPD, arthritis, degenerative joint disease and depression. My mobility is quite limited and I find it more and more difficult to get up and down from a seated position. My husband is also disabled due to heart disease, degenerative joint disease, and COPD. He has been assisting me in this task, but it is getting much harder for him.

The purchase of a lift chair would certainly allow me the freedom to get in and out of a chair by myself, rather than having to need assistance each time I must go to the bathroom or to bed, etc. We survive on the money we receive from Social Security Disability and a very small VA pension for my husband. We can barely make our grocery bills and other necessities, let alone purchase an item such as a lift chair.

I am sure that being able to get up and out of the chair by myself would have a huge impact on my life. The effect it would have in helping with my depression alone would be amazing. I am asking for your assistance to make this purchase and cannot stress enough how important it is to be able to do at least one task by myself. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
