This all started during the first part of May when I lost my job. I was unemployed for a little over a month until I found a new job. About a month after I started I was getting caught up. It was a good job, except the only downside was that it would close down for the month of August. That was okay because when it opened back up again I could get caught up again. Then on Monday August 24th, the day before my second job was supposed to start up again, I was involved in a motorcycle accident.

I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was told that my left wrist was broken and I received stitches in my left leg. Mostly due to my left wrist I am unable to work. I had surgery on my wrist where they put in a metal plate to hold it together. My follow-up appointment is coming up and hopefully I will start physical therapy to regain the strength and use of my wrist.

My second job had to terminate me because of my injuries. My first job is holding my position until I can return, but at this time I have no income. The apartment that I am renting is also home to my six-month pregnant girlfriend and her five-year-old son. We were already evicted from our last apartment because of the month I had with no work. The five-year-old just started kindergarten and he loves his home very much. I do not want to have to move again, nor do I want my girlfriend to go through the stress of moving again in her current condition.

As for myself, I am at a loss of what to do. I need rest in order to heal quickly and properly, but it is so difficult to sit around and do nothing under doctors' orders when I know that what I need to be doing is working and providing for my family. This one gesture on your part will save my growing family's home long enough for me to return to work. Thank you so very much for your consideration.
