I am suffering this dramatic hump and am praying to get help from you with my rent. This situation has put me in a lot of stress and has also had me thinking. When I received the letter in the mail stating that I was denied for the 6 weeks of paid leave during my maternity leave, I was devastated and thought about my family and what we were going to do without this income coming in.

I sat with my husband and we spoke about what to do. He called a few friends and asked if he could cut their lawn to make a few dollars, and they were very helpful. I also made a few phone calls to several churches and asked if they need a nursery worker. I have yet to get a phone call, for I just had the baby and they need the release form.

This maternity leave has really set me back. It has made us unable to pay our rent. Help with it will allow me to stay on good terms with my landlord and I will not be evicted. My family and I will not be under a lot of stress and I will be able to stay focused and continue to work when my 6 weeks are up, knowing my family will have a roof over their head and a clean place to sleep.
